POHORJE FOR THREE FAMILIES:
ACTIVE, GREEN, HEALTHY AND INNOVATIVE EXPERIENCES ON POHORJE

Day 1: SLOVENSKA BISTRICA – BISTRIŠKI VINTGAR – PLANINA POD ŠUMIK
- Morning arrival in Slovenska Bistrica.
- Hike through Bistriški Vintgar, where you will get to know the myths and traditions of Pohorje with the help of digital guidance from our mobile app. Get acquainted with the interesting, international project “Living charm in the palm of your hand”.
- Along the way, you will find a basket of surprises in the embrace of this natural scenery – a snack-pack of local Pohorje delicacies which will be prepared especially for you by Lena and Primož, from Domačija Gora pod Lipo.
- After refreshments, continue the march past the church of St. Urh to Planina pod Šumikom (total length of the hiking trail is 9 km).
- Accommodation at Apartment House Planina pod Šumikom with time for various sports activities or relaxation (possibility of horseback riding, bike rental, table tennis, use of children’s playground and playroom, sauna, deck chairs on the terrace).
- Dinner at Hotel Jakec
- Overnight stay at Apartment Planina pod Šumikom
Day 2. PLANINA POD ŠUMIK – VELIKI ŠUMIK – TINJSKA GORA – RAČE
- Delivery of breakfast baskets of local delicacies from Sustainable Farming Zorjan, Tinjska gora.
- Hike to Veliki Šumik waterfall (length of the hiking trail 8.5 km).
- Lunch on Homestead Gora pod Lipo, Tinjska gora (tasting menu).
- Visit the town of Rače, where Count Ivan Erazem Tattenbach and his friend Countess Katarina Zrinska will receive you (presentation of Erasmus’ story of conspiracy against the emperor with an animation group; walk through the castle and castle park).
- Programme finishes by 6 pm
PACKAGE PRICE: EUR 390.00 for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children up to 14 years)

(EUR 97.50 per person for 2 days or EUR 48.75 per person per day)
THE PRICE INCLUDES: basket of house delicacies of Domačija Gora Pod Lipo in Bistrški vintgar (lunch), rent of apartment Planina pod Šumikom for one night, dinner in Hotel Jakec, breakfast – basket of house delicacies from Sustainable Farming Zorjan, lunch on the second day at Homestead Gora Pod Lipo, tour of Rača castle including the presentation of the animation group, management and organisation, and VAT.
Surcharge on arrival: Tourist tax.
To facilitate the planning of activities according to the programme, when booking the package you will receive all the necessary directions (contacts, opening hours of providers, a table of other tourist offers in Pohorje / 19 municipalities), as well as your RESERVATION NUMBER, with which you will be able to use the services included in the package.
Additional options:
- Exclusively for the service of bed and breakfast, the use of tourist vouchers is possible; the cost of renting an apartment for 4 people is EUR 60.00 / night, the cost of other activities under the program EUR 330.00 ; the calculation applies to a family of 2 adults + 2 children up to 14 years. Payment of costs for nights with tourist vouchers is made directly to accommodation providers. Payment of costs for other services from the package at the tourist agency Pohorje Tours.
