Day 1: Slovenska Bistrica – Starošince – Ritoznoj – Planica pri Framu

• visit to the Slovenska Bistrica castle (collection of permanent exhibitions)
• visit to the local food and product market, option of tasting and buying the products (open on Saturdays from 7 AM to 10.30 AM)
• visit to the Žitnik Homestead in Starošince (presentation of the farm, tasting of products from spelt and pumpkin oil); option of buying products
• visit to the Vinogradništva Frešer Ritoznoj winemaking facility, and tasting 5 samples of wine with snacks (house cured meats, local cheese, homemade bread)
• arrival at the Pri Kovačniku Planica pri Framu tourist farm and accommodation
• time for walk in nature
• evening culinary pampering with house delicacies at the neighbouring Pri Baronu Eco Farm – Baron’s seasonal taste of ecological and local environment.

Day 2: Fram – Maribor

• breakfast of local goods at the Pri Kovačniku tourist farm
• guided walk through the old city centre, meeting historical personalities, listening to interesting stories and seeing popular spots in the City of Maribor
• tasting local culinary goods at the Gostilna pri Treh Ribnikih
• discovering medieval Maribor through stories, arising from the Židovska Četrt, the Jewish district (visit to the inside of synagogue)
• tasting of 5 wine samples at the Old Vine House at Lent, home to the oldest vine in the world (450 years old, žametna črnina ali modra kavčina)

PRICE: EUR 399 for 2 persons

Package includes: Entrance fee at the Slovenska Bistrica castle, visit to the Žitnik farm and product tasting, which entails tasting of 5 samples of wine at the Frešer winemaking and house cold cuts, accommodation with breakfast at the Pri Kovačniku tourist farm, Baron’s seasonal dinner, lunch at the Trije Ribniki Restaurant, a visit to the synagogue, tasting at the Old Vine House, tourist guide for the second day/2–3 hours, organisation and VAT.

On-spot additional payment: tourist tax.

When reserving a package, you will receive all necessary directions (contacts, providers’ opening hours, table of the remaining tourist offer at the Pohorje/19 municipalities destination) to plan the programme activities easier; as well as your RESERVATION NUMBER, which you can use for the services included in the package.

Additional options:

• use of tourist vouchers is explicitly for the service of accommodation with breakfast; in this case the cost for this type of accommodation is EUR 90, while the cost of other activities is EUR 309; this calculation is valid only for a minimum of 2 persons. Payment of costs for accommodation with breakfast is executed directly at the accommodation provider, and the costs for other services from the package at the Pohorje Turizem tourist agency.
